Taking inspiration from Nordic boats, the project is developed around a solid vessel, characterized by a hull with classic lines.
The teak deck and wooden superstructures convey a sense of solidity and charm, which distinguish this type of construction.
At the stern, there is a large sundeck, which accommodates the tender when present.
At the bow, the interiors are notably bright, thanks to the large windows. The stern cabin, accessed via a ladder directly from the deck, allows even the tallest individuals to stand comfortably.
Next is the bathroom, spacious and comfortable, which corresponds, in section, to a large wardrobe. The dashboard integrates the helm station and the kitchen with stove and sink, accessible from both the deck and the stern cabin. At the bow is the large, spacious master cabin.
Paolo Maccione visited us, and we are pleased to publish his comment:
"I visited the Armstrong 10 in anticipation of an upcoming article in the vintage and classic boat magazine Yacht Digest. Boats like this are either hated... or loved madly. The Armstrong 10 is a cross between a pilot trawler, a motor yacht with very generous volumes, a houseboat, and a mini yacht suitable even for long offshore sailing. It is the ideal boat for families with children, for those who do not want to register it unless necessary, for those looking to save on mooring costs, and for those who no longer wish to face storms in soaked oilskins (the helm is located under the covered deckhouse). At nearly 10 knots of speed, consuming just 4 liters of diesel per hour, it is a wooden house on the sea with a cruising range that allows you to set off from Liguria and reach Sicily without refueling. The stern is not just a cabin but a real suite, and the external deck areas provide enough space to lounge in the sun, satisfying even the most demanding of wives. Despite being only 10 meters long, it’s a boat where you won't feel cramped. The shallow draft, reduced to about one meter, allows access to lagoons, rivers, lakes, or anchoring just a few meters from any beach. An ideal hull for the charter market, accessible to everyone... if only charter agencies would realize it. As a sailor, this is the only motorboat I would ever buy."
